Hongyuan is a brand of individually wrapped fruit hard candy, sold on Amazon, known for Guava Hard Candy.
hongyuan.store is an independent shop guide to Hongyuan fruit hard candy: flavors, pack sizes, label facts and buyer reviews.

Most people meet Hongyuan before they learn what it is called. The check arrives, and with it a small green candy in a crimped wrapper. It tastes of guava, sweet at first and tart at the end. The wrapper reads 宏源 above 番石榴: Hongyuan, guava.
Buyers describe the same path in their reviews. One found the candy at a Japanese restaurant, one at a hibachi counter, one at a nail salon, one in a Vietnamese place that sets a piece on the bill. Then they went looking for the bag.

A Hongyuan hard candy is boiled sugar and glucose syrup with fruit flavor, citric acid and color. Guava belongs to the Classic Series. Lychee, peach, pineapple and green apple carry the name Dakeyi on the front, and each bag is printed in the color of its fruit. Tangerine peel is the odd one out: it borrows its taste from chenpi, the dried citrus peel used as a seasoning in Chinese cooking.
Guava is the strong one in the Hongyuan lineup. Ripe guava smells sweet and musky, and the candy keeps that note. Most buyers love it and a few do not.

Every flavor comes in the same 350 g bag with each piece wrapped on its own, so a bag can sit open in a dish for weeks. The guava bag sells alone and in packs of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 30. The price of one bag changes with the pack, and the biggest box is not always the cheapest way to fill the dish.
The cheapest bag sits in the 3 bags pack, not in the biggest box. All about the guava bag

Great candies
Our local Japanese restaurant has these as free after dinner treats. Looked all over for them and finally found them here. These are the exact ones they serve and are delicious.
Yummy!
It takes like tasting a bite out of a fresh guava. Yummy!!!! Great value to find a bag this big at a fair price. We have trouble finding this candy in stores so thrilled to find it on Amazon.
Huge Bag of Candy
The bag was huge! I thought it was just going to be a small bag of candy, but it wasn't. Taste was a bit odd at first, but I have never ate guavas before. They were pretty good.
Id buy again
4/5 because your breath is going to smell and your mouths gonna taste, *interesting*. Taste is good to me though, but not a commonly enjoyed taste. "Armpit" taste is what most people say the taste of it is. They are not exactly wrong but its more of a tropical and kiwi musk taste instead of armpit lol lasts long and has a slight refreshing feel to it.
Dakeyi vs Kasugai Lychee candies
Great candy for the office candy jar. I decided to try this Dakeyi candy as the price was more reasonable compared to the Kasugai lychee candies. The taste is adequate, it will satisfy that craving for a sweet candy, but has a bit of a medicinal/dirt root taste that I personally don't care for. But its OK.
Yum!
My boyfriend and I loved getting the guava candies from restaurants we've been to, so we had to order some for ourselves! Now we love the pineapple flavoured one the most. They're all so tasty! The bags are pretty big, They're going to last us a long while!
The bag, the wrapper and the candy itself, next to the fruit it is named for.

Six fruits, one kind of candy. What each flavor tastes like, where the fruit comes from, what reviewers say and which bag to open first.

Two stickers, two ingredient lists and a few misprints. What each line on a Hongyuan bag means, from glucose syrup to Yellow 5.
It is Hongyuan guava hard candy when the wrapper reads 宏源. Restaurants hand it out with the check, and the same candy sells in 350 g (12.3 oz) bags of wrapped pieces.
宏源 is the brand, Hongyuan, and 番石榴 means guava. The 350 g bag adds 果味糖, fruit-flavored candy, or 夹心糖 on some print runs.
The brand's store at our retail partner carries the guava bag in packs of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 30 bags, from $5.99. It also lists lychee, peach, pineapple, tangerine peel, the pineapple, guava & lychee trio and the pineapple, guava & green apple trio.
